Sailor Persephone
Position: Senshi of Spring
Challenge: "I am the Goddess of Spring and new growth, Sailor Persephone. You seek to destroy growth, and that must be stopped!"
Symbol: A crocus flower sprouting from a seedling.
Broach: Persephone’s brooch is fairly simple-- a yellow-green emerald set in a gold locket case. In black under the emerald, Persephone’s symbol is visible. For some reason, the locket won’t open, no matter how much force is applied.
Fuku:
Persephone's fuku is distinct from the other Mythos fuku because I was one of the first applicants and didn't really have fuku guidelines, and so I'm allowed to be cheeseful. So there. Um, anyway, it's a one-piece yellow-green dress just like the rest, but it has no collar or white section. Instead, it has a sweetheart cut neck and cap sleeves, with dark green bows in the usual places; her henshin locket rests on the front bow. In addition, Persephone has no gloves, but wears a dark green choker. Her shoes are dark green Mary Janes. Around her waist, she wears a dark green belt with a bag of seeds hung from it on her right.
Henshin
"Persephone Goddess Power! Make up!"
Filia stands with her hands crossed over her heart, and shouts, "Persephone Goddess Power..." She holds her hands over her head, palms together, then shouts, "Make Up!" As she starts to spin, vines twirl around her, forming the shape of her fuku, which then appears in an explosion of gold sparkles. She ends the transformation with one hand in the air, the other down by her side, left foot pointed to the side.
Attack
"Green Swirl Entangle!"
Taking a seed from her bag, Persephone says, "Green Swirl..." She pirrhouettes once, then tosses the seed at her opponent, shouting, "Entangle!" The seed lands and explodes into a huge plant, which grows around the opponent, trapping it. It's exceedingly difficult to dodge this attack; even if the enemy gets out of the seed's way, the plant's vines will more than likely find their target. The plant may be destroyed by fire or by being cut, and may be struggled out of if the target is especially strong. The struggle usually takes about a minute and a half. Persephone can cast this about three times per fight.
