HAAS Online

So, New Anime Night was actually kind of disappointing; a couple of the shows voted in were revealed to be fanservice anime that struck well with some poeple, and others simply didn’t care… but then there we the few gems of Muv Luv, Tari Tari, and Binbou-gami ga!  Black Rock Shooter was also met with less mixed feelings but more “WTF?”  All in all, I think it’s safe to say that only a few more shows from the New Anime list will actually be looked forward to.  That is just my own opinion and speculation, though.

Well, we finished out another series… Ano Natsu de Matteru, we had a good run.  It was a very well-received show at HAAS, and that makes me happy.  Oh, we also watched more ToraDora, which I’m ALSO happy about.  Mysterious Girlfriend X will probably be the next series we finish… too many good shows.  Without further ado…

More people enjoyed the One Piece movie than I thought would… hm…  but at least ToraDora is getting voted in again~!  Also, we’ll probably finish out Ano Natsu next meeting.

Speaking of which, the next meeting will be at our REGULAR time on FRIDAY; VOTING WILL START AT 6:30, and will END at 6:45.  THIS IS SO WE CAN WATCH MORE SHOWS TO HELP FINISH OUT SEVERAL SERIES IN PREPARATION FOR NEW ANIME NIGHT, WHICH WILL BE FRIDAY, JULY 20th.

Big ol’ FYI – HAAS will be starting to take money for AWA group pre-registration (Early Start) this Friday at the meeting. I will be explaining everything people need to know about pre-reg. The price is 35 dollars per person. The HAAS Fund (TM) will be paying in the extra fee to get this deal. The deadline to get me your money before I give the money to Alan to send in the pre-reg stuff will be FRIDAY, JULY 13th. That is when I will be handing stuff to Alan to take care of this, just like last year.  When you turn in your money, I will have a notebook out where you will put your e-mail and what you want on the badge; remember to fill this out, or I will have a fun time with what your badge says!  With that said, please, please, please find a way to make it out to a HAAS meeting between now and then if you want the discounted group rate / EARLY START badges for AWA.

In other news, HAAS will be at its regular day and time this week,tomorrow (Friday) at 6:30 PM.  See you all there!
